If your MacBook Pro is 2012 or older, then your chances of recovery are good depending on the amount of data you had as well as the amount of data you put back on the computer after you emptied your trash bin. If your MacBook Pro is 2013 or newer, then unfortunately chances are very slim to none in getting your deleted data back. With certain MacBook Pro models, a device called “Trim” is installed and this device removes deleted data from your computer after a certain time.
